When making the ESSENSE FAMILY my aim was to make a difference in the marketplace. A few brands carried thin mid layer type down jackets but these were boxy and not ideal for layering. I wanted my jacket to truly fit underneath a technical shell garment. A sleeker fit was key. In order to allow for unrestricted movement I decided to place stretch panels at the back where forward arm movement requires space. The stretch fleece panels also provide better ventilation.
The jacket is clean with discrete secure hand pocket and an extra at the chest. The jacket stows into its own hand pocket.
The Essense family now has many seasons on its back and has been a big seller from the start. Feedback has been that it really does make a difference compared to competitors and the stores love it.
